Wado City Train Station Ujevwu(Wado)  – Itakpe / Uromi Train Schedule & Ticket Prices (2023) by Africans247 .  The Ujevwu(Wado) -Itakpe Train Service is a railway system in Nigeria connecting the new city of Wado to the inland town of Itakpe. This railway project began in 1987 with the goal of supplying iron ore and coal to the Ajaokuta Steel Mill.  After more than 30 years of construction, it was inaugurated in 2020, serving both freight and passengers. Originally, the railway was intended to transport iron ore to the steel mill. However, it was extended to Wado, metropolitan city near the Atlantic Ocean. In 2017, work resumed with the help of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation.   Ukodo is a yam and unripe plantain dish of the Urhobo people of Nigeria. The Itsekiri people of the Niger Delta also make a similar dish called Epuru . It is essentially a pottage, a stew of meat and vegetable with its base as the Nigerian pepper soup. It is usually used for marriage and burial ceremonies or as breakfast, particularly during the cold season. It is sometimes cooked with lemon grass and potash. A poem by the Nigerian Chovwe Inisiagho-Ogbe describes both the ingredients and the process of cooking Ukodo in a light-hearted way. Wadoo!!!! Is it just me or did the weather get chilly all of a sudden. This is the best type of weather for one of my favorite south-south recipes….Ukodo. The Agbarha-Ame people are believed to be originally from Edo territory and stopped in Agbarha-Otor, from where they founded the present Agbarha described as Agbarha-Ame .   𝐈𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚 THE URHOBO KINGDOM OF OROGUN Orogun Kingdom is in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. The name Orogun was derived from Efe's son who was called Orogun . Orogun's  father, Efe migrated from Benin to Urhobo land and got married to Owhowa's daughter called Orhiara . Orhiara was the  mother of Orogun and the only daughter of owhawa. Orhiara was also the only sister to Ughelli and also only sister to her step brothers, Ogoh and Agbarha . That means from Orogun mother's side his grand father was Owhowa an original Urhobo man.  Orogun also have other step brothers from his father with another wife from Aboh ... His step brothers are (Owolukpo) Abbi , Amai , and Umukwata . Orogun migrated from Owhowa's village (his grandfather's village) for Aboh Umuli due to misunderstanding with Ogoh , his Uncle. Ogoh propelled an issue against Orogun that he slept with the wife of Ughelli so that ughelli will be angry with him. R
